If you are new to the salon, your first appointment should be a consultation. Virtual Consultations are available for out-of-state clients who are interested in SharaLocs services. You are an ACTIVE client if you have been to the salon within the past four months. If you are a SharaLocs client and have not been serviced within the past four months, you must book a new consultation before booking any other services. You have an appointment, if you booked a service, and received an email confirmation. Three reminders are sent to your email address on file to remind you of your upcoming appointment. Services are by appointment only. Scheduling deposits are used to hold appointment spots and are non-refundable. However, you can only use this deposit once to reschedule with a 48-hour notice. Leftover service time will not be credited. For example, if you book four hours and the Stylist finishes your hair in 3.5 hours, you will not be credited 30 minutes. To ensure fairness to stylists and other clients, you will be charged the full-service cost for no-shows or late cancellations. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes after your appointment time. Out-of-state clients, please notify the salon if you need to make special arrangements. Regular maintenance is key to achieving healthy beautiful locs. Retightenings should occur every 4-6 weeks. It is strongly recommended that you stick to your retightening schedule. Overdue retightening 8 weeks or more may be charged more for repairs and longer sessions. If you need a hairstyle, please book "Loc Style" with your service. Shampoos are included with your retightening.
Priority Booking is for clients that would like to be on the schedule for the duration of their subscription with no hassle and stress-free waiting for a yearly fee of $149.99. Your appointment will be booked with no DEPOSIT DOWN and before the booking site is open to the public.
This is a yearly subscription for priority booking. This IS NOT AN APPOINTMENT and must be paid for each year at or before the subscription expiration date. Clients that are not on a recurring every 4 weeks will not be able to get the same DATE and TIME for each appointment. This priority booking fee is NONREFUNDABLE for any reason. NEITHER CAN THIS FEE BE EXCHANGED OR TRANSFERRED FOR OTHER SERVICES.
If you book a new loc establishment, you will be asked to make a non-refundable deposit of 50%. The balances for installations can be paid in Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Zelle, and CashApp. Gratuity/tips are accepted but are not a requirement for service. If you choose to tip your stylist, cash and electronic tips will be accepted
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable; however, you will be able to use this same deposit if you cancel your appointment at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled date and time. You will also need to reschedule a new appointment to receive service at the time of cancellation. You will ONLY BE ALLOWED TO USE THIS DEPOSIT ONE TIME TO RESCHEDULE; Clients that schedule during a “SPECIAL “will not be able to use their deposit to reschedule appointments when the special ends. You will need to pay a new deposit. Clients who initiate chargebacks with their credit card companies after receiving services will be BLOCKED from making future appointments and legal action will be taken to cover service rendered.
I understand that things happen. However, your time will start at your appointment time, even if you’re late. This means that you are charged $150 for three hours. Your appointment was 10:00 a.m., but you arrived at 10:30 a.m. Your three hours started at 10:00 a.m. After 15 minutes, your appointment may be canceled.
Establishment/Installation: You will be charged $50 per every 30 mins you are late for 10 A.M installations. “IF” I Still take you.,
I recommend you avoid coloring your hair for at least one year after establishing your natural or extension locs. Semi-permanents and rinses are considered hair color. However, your locs may be colored if I recommend it. Please note that vibrant colors require your hair to be BLEACHED. Dark to light colors should be done in stages to avoid damaging the integrity of your locks. Dark colors need to be refreshed at least every 10 weeks. Blonde and platinum colors can be retouched every THREE MONTHS. PLEASE PLEASE understand that colors will not always be the exact color you are asking for. HOWEVER, I will try my best to get it close as possible to your desired color. Colors on Locs require 2-3 hours depending on the length of your Locs and the color service. Coloring service on locs also takes 3-4 times more color than loose hair. Keep in mind that this will cost more than loose hair color service.
1. Clients can bring food, snacks, and beverages during an installation or long retightening. However, I ask that you avoid bringing food with any unpleasant odor for others' consideration. For example, fish, garlic, onion, etc., have strong odors.
2. No clients should be under the influence of drugs or alcohol before or during your appointment. If you consume alcohol, marijuana, or any other mind-altering drugs during your service, I will end your appointment, and you will be required to reschedule at your expense.
3. If you smoke marijuana, please cover your locks until they are fully mature. Fully mature locs will need to be shampooed weekly.
4. Please do not smoke before your appointment. Exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke and vaping aerosols can be very harmful to my health.
5. No type of smoking or vaping is allowed inside of the salon.

7. Please bring your headphones/EarPods to your appointment to watch your videos/movies.
8. Detox must be done at least once yearly to remove odor, product buildup, and lint
9. Please express any service-related concern or complaint within 24 hours after your appointment. This allows me to serve you better and gives me a more reasonable time to determine a solution.
10. Please double-check your appointment details at the time of booking. All confirmations will be sent to your email on file directly from my booking site. 11.Please note that reminders are courtesies. Clients are responsible for tracking their appointments.
