Braidlocs are really small individuals that may or may not mature into Locs. During your braidloc journey, most people can't tell the difference unless you choose to explain. You will be asked if they are Sisterlocks. These take less time to complete, but with a close-up look, you can see the braid pattern. These are less expensive than micro Locs (interlock), and slippage is based on texture and length.   

Micro Locs (Interlock) are also really small locs parted into small individuals that are interlocked instead of braided. This gives you an instant locked look and takes a longer time for the installation to complete. Tiny locs/sista locs are done the same way, but are way smaller than microlocs. There is moderate slippage and way less shrinkage.   

Please come with your hair freshly shampooed within the last 24 hours with a clarifying shampoo. Your hair will need to be COMPLETELY DRY. Allow your hair to air dry, DO NOT BLOW DRY, put your hair into 4-6 braided sections, and make sure your hair is FREE OF ANY PRODUCTS, OIL, OR GREASE. Shampoo service is free and available at least 1 day before your appointment.

Your quote is good for 2 months. However, IF there is a service price change and you haven’t scheduled with a deposit. You will pay the new price of the requested service.  Your hair will be measured once you arrive for the service. This is the time your price will be finalized.   

Why: If you measured 10” in January and your appointment is in April, your hair will have grown and require more work and time. This will increase the cost per additional inch.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable; however, you will be able to use this same deposit if you cancel your appointment at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled date and time. You will also need to reschedule a new appointment to receive service at the time of cancellation. You will ONLY BE ALLOWED TO USE THIS DEPOSIT ONE TIME TO RESCHEDULE;  Clients that schedule during a “SPECIAL “will not be able to use their deposit to reschedule appointments when the special ends.

The payment secures your appointment date and time. This also eliminated clients scheduling that know they are not serious about receiving service. This scheduling deposit payment DOES go towards your service.

Clients that schedule DURING a SPECIAL CAN NOT use their deposit to reschedule. You will be allowed to pay the original price of service and pay the original price deposit for a new date. Ex. If you scheduled during a special but need to reschedule. The deposit with the special price was $200 but with the original price, it would have been $400. You have the opportunity to pay the additional $200 at the time and pay the original price of service on your new installation date. This keeps you from losing your scheduling deposit. You have a new date with no discount and the deposit you paid goes towards your new price or lose the scheduling deposit. 

Retie: Your time will start AT your appointment time, even if you’re late. This means that you are charged $175 for 3 hours, and your appointment was for 8:30 am, but you got here at 9 am. Your three hours started at 8:30 am. After 15 minutes. Your appointment will be canceled.

Establishment/Installation: You will be charged $50 per every 30 mins you are late. “IF” I still take you.

Virtual Consultations are NOT offer for retightening/repair services. In person consultation is $35. FEEL  FREE  to ask any questions or concerns you may have at this time.

No, I will not be held responsible for the inconsistency in your Locs. 

I use natural kinky human hair for locs extensions. Please don't expect it to respond like loose, natural, wavy hair. This hair will respond like natural 4c hair.  It can be colored and rolled on rollers. You will be responsible for loosening the extensions. It is recommended to leave the hair alone to reduce slippage and repairs. When it is freshly installed, I recommend that you handle the hair as little as possible. The locs around the perimeter of your head will be slightly bigger. This will help to reduce breakage or slippage, depending on the health of your hairline. Your hair texture, length, and home maintenance will determine the amount of slippage that you will experience. Please note: Braidlocs DO NOT mature into microlocs. They are used only for temporary length and fullness until your desired length, then they must be cut out or combed out.

 Your hair and scalp will be evaluated and a recommendation of sizing and service installation method will be given. Prior to making a deposit during your consultation, you will have finalized your decisions on loc size and installation method. If at the time of completion, you regret your decision on parting/size and install method. You will be responsible and charged for any requested adjustments.

Retightening Service:

The time will be based on the size of your head, if you have a tender scalp, if you have been keeping up with your maintenance, the number of Locs, and the amount of slippage that you have. 

FYI: If you are not available for the long hours discussed during the consultation, please DO NOT schedule the appointment.  Additional time and days will not be added because you are sleeping, impatient, or just ready to go home. I will not be pressured to beat someone else's time, but l will take care of your hair and do what needs to be done.
